One of my favorite colors is blue. Any shade really.
For my writer’s self, I chose sky blue because it represents the optimistic reminder that each day starts anew whether you are ready for it or not. That’s what my grandmother taught me. There will always be a blue sky somewhere. That thought alone makes me smile on any given day. Every time you see my Instagram or my logo, I hope it lifts your spirits to know that you can look up and forward no matter what is in front of you.
SIDEBAR: When I was in college, I participated in a True Colors workshop and my primary color was Blue. At first, my blue group was labeled as too nice, too emotional, and soft-hearted. I wanted to switch colors for about 2 minutes. I didn’t like those labels! After reading more about my personality type, I began to embrace the blue sticker on my lapel and the other colors around me. Being blue wasn’t a bad thing. It was beautiful!
